This elite and exclusive program is a program that involves Tiffany working with your dog all day for 4 consecutive days AND training your family each day. Training one dog family at a time, Tiffany immerses your dog into a one on one program. This program is the equivalent of a board and train program but instead of being away from your dog for a long time, your dog spends full days with Tiffany and comes home every evening.
Here is how it works:
Prior to arrival Tiffany will have a phone consultation with you regarding your training goals, information about your dog, and your behavior concerns about your dog. After the phone consultation Tiffany will create a detailed training plan that is broken down into a 3 day intensive. This type of training is for your dog AND you. That’s what makes this program so unique.
Tiffany will pick your dog up the first morning of training. That day training will consist of your primary concerns, obedience and the immediate needs of your dog and family. During day 1 – your dog will stay with Tiffany. Tiffany will observe, train and love your dog all day long. Depending on your training goals your dog may go into public. Tiffany will make a training video of the sessions and bring with her to give at day 1 go home. The evening of Day 1 — Tiffany will bring your dog home and meet with your family. Now it’s human training time. Tiffany will go over the video and give you training handouts to cover what your dog has learned. She will demonstrate with your dog and teach you how to implement training. There will be time for questions and upon completion of the first day of training you will see new and amazing changes in your dog.
Tiffany will pick your dog up the morning of training. This days training will be building on what was taught the day before. This is the day we begin to add distractions and make training a little more real life. Tiffanys goal is to expose your dog to distractions, new people, animals and teach new cues that will be helpful for you. Often day 2 cues are stay, leash walking, come, down and engagement cues like touch, place, heel and eye contact. The evening of Day 2 — Tiffany will bring your dog home and meet with your family. Now it’s human training time. Tiffany will go over the video and give you training handouts to cover what your dog has learned. She will demonstrate with your dog and teach you how to implement training. There will be time for questions and upon completion of the todays training you will see the puzzle pieces fitting together.
Sometimes for your dogs needs we will do 2 days one week and 2 days the next week so training has time to be built upon
Tiffany will pick your dog up the morning of training. This is our day to combine all we have learned. Tiffany will help trouble shoot any problem behaviors and proof cues like come, wait, stay, leave it, place and boundaries. Tiffany will video her training sessions and compile training homework. Your dog will be trained multiple times that day, visit new places, be exposed to new people and animals based on your training goals and be able to demonstrate reliable behavior and achievement of all of your training goals. The criteria for graduation for this program is demonstration of behavior with Tiffany AND with you! When Tiffany brings your pup home for the evening the learning continues. Tiffany will train you in hand signals, voice cues, body language and all of the cues your dog knows. You will receive a video showing all your dog has learned and homework for what has been trained and a 4 week homework continuation. You will be confident, clean and able to continue with your dog in a way that is easy and fun.
Day 4 is a review day of all your dog has learned and proofing all behaviors. Your dog is trained all day and exposited to distractions and new situations in which your training goals can be accomplished. When your dog comes home you will be trained, shown a training video and your dog will work alongside you on the training to ensure success.
After the program: Training doesn’t end. Follow up in home private training sessions are included. These sessions will offer continued support and insight as your pup progresses. You can reach Tiffany via text or email at all times and the friendship created in this program is for a lifetime.
During the 4 Day Intensive — Tiffany exclusively dedicates herself to your dogs training. Due to this she only accepts one dog per month for this program. She books approx 2 -4 months out for this program.
